Real Estate questions with a Warranty Deed?
A Warranty deed was signed over to me for a house I currently live in. The person that signed it to me is now attempting to sell the property out from under me. Is there any way I can stop this? She signed the Warranty deed to me, does that mean I have legal rights over the property, or does she still hold the right to sell the house I live in?

As long as you registered the deed with your local county, the house is yours. If you haven’t, I’d suggest you do so immediately!
