I want to buy land within a year. What states have the cheapest land due to the recession? ?
I’m in the military deployed over to Afghanistan. Right now the economy is hurting, but that is a good thing for me because everything from homes to land, prices are falling. I want to know where I can find cheap land in the southwest (if possible) to buy. I was thinking around a metro area because sooner or later. some company or business will want to offer me a price on that land. If not, something to fall back on. I want to buy before the economy recovers.
Probably the Midwest. If you are looking for something with a good resale value in the SW, then you will have to pay more for it but it would be a better value. Prices now are very low everywhere compared to the prices a year ago. Anything in a Metro area will be more money. But resale will also be good in the future when the market turns. Good luck!
